firefox chacheing inhibits pages from refreshing #11

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. accessing kusaba with firefox
2. accessing kusaba with any other browser with caching like firefox

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Posts and replys are registered and show up if you turn cacheing off, but
even if you refresh, given that kusaba runs in frames it does not update
the page unless you open it on its own and then refresh it.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version of firefox: 2.0.0.7 on any system
i have optimum online web hosting if that makes any difference

Please provide any additional information below.
there have been many threads and obviously there must be a couple good
fixes seeing how common it is and how other kusaba boards seem to work well
i just never have had a solution given to me.

Hmm, I don't have this problem. Are you sure your cache settings are correct?
Also,
try Ctrl+F5, it might just be you. (I had the opposite problem myself,
actually.)

It seems to work alright in IE, but in FireFox - no.
