X ELEVEN ERROR: GLXBadDrawable #112

Everytime I try to launch boomer now, it becomes inactive, and upon quitting with q, the console I launched it from is full of the following error

X ELEVEN ERROR: GLXBadDrawable

any ideas?

edit: this might be my problem. launching obs gives: image
