The current behavior of zooming via scrolling flatly adds scrollSpeed as velocity.
The effect that results in, is that the further in you try to scroll, the more effort it takes to scroll in more.
I fixed this in my personal fork of boomer, which leads me to believe this wasn't fixed due to a design decision.
Basically, I want the velocity increase to become bigger, directly dependent on the current scale. In my testing, it works incredibly well, and mimics what you'd usually expect out of a zooming application.
This is an issue and not a PR because I realize what I think is "correct" is actually opinionated, so I'm wondering if this is a type of change you'd even want to 1. have in the repository 2. use yourself (as I understand you probably created boomer in the first place out of a personal need, and changing behavior you like to behavior you don't like as much, wouldn't make much sense.).
