Siphon can't connect over 3g #352

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Iphone firmware 3.1.2 3g data plan
2. Siphon activated in EDGE/3G option.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Siphone cannot conect over 3g, only over Wifi signal.

It can't be the problem of the my ISP , because Fring can connect with
VoIPover3g over 3g.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Siphon version 2.2.0, Iphone 3gs Firwmware 3.1.2

Are you sure Fring uses sip protocol between his server and your iPhone ?
Maybe you could enable NAT option.

Could you enable log level to detailed and post the log file. It's written in
/var/mobile/Libray/Siphon

It's clear Fring uses sip between Fring servers and your sip provider.

You can get the file by scp...

Did you enabled 3G option of Siphon

I'm sure because i use SIP option in Fring only, i don't have any account
configured
more.

Yes i enable this option.

Dear Samuel

I think siphon is working fine, i think my isp is blocking The port.

Why fring can Connect and siphon can't it?

I don't know how Fring works, but it seems all conservations cross by Fring
server.
You gave your SIP settings (server, username and pwd) to Fring, after that all
SIP
transactions are made by Fring server. Fring's servers transfer information
(voice...) in other protocol for example http.

Finally, Fring can analyze your traffic.
