Tutorial or explanation of the combat system #14

We need some way to teach the player how to equip items and how combat works.
 - What is "action points"
 - What are "turns"
 - How do you flee from combat.

This could be either as an in-game character that the player can ask, or
incorporated in some quest, or a pre-step before you start the "real" game.

Another option would be "tip of the day". Either on the start screen or on the
loading screen.

Tip of the day:
1) You could attack by tapping anywhere on the screen instead of the small
attack button.
2) Fleeing from Combat.
3) Talk back to peoples later. They might know more.
4) critical hit
5) damage prevention
6) attack/block chance
7) AP
8) AD 3-9

What exactly is the "end turn" button good for? I have to less AP to do
anything and the games waits for a tap on that button. What else could I do?
When I am in the middle of a fight - do I have any advantages when I "abort" my
turn?

I know that the game is designed as a turn-based rpg. But this is kind of
inconsistent: when I am moving and I pause some time, the monsters continue to
move. Trying to sneak through the monsters is somewhat frustrating. It feels
like classic real-time-hack'n'slay arpg. But after entering a fight (which is
sometimes a bit difficult to achieve) it's stricly turn-based. I can't exactly
tell how it should be (from my point of view) but it has that slight
inconsistent touch.

In response to comment 3: Are you using the latest version? We changed some
things in 0.6.6b4 to adress that particular thing. (see comment 3 in issue 26)

This will hopefully make your combat more fluent they way you describe it.

There could be use of the "end turn" button:
If you got the "hedgehog"-skill on level 5 and a very low attack damage (1-2
AD) then it could be faster to let him attack you.

The "end combat" button could however be replaced by a "flee combat" (Issue 18)
button showing the following note: "You may also manually flee by longclicking
an empty field..., check this box [ ] to hide this message in the future."

*the "hedgehog"-skill does not exist (yet)

"Tip of the day" displayed on the start screen, no user action required. (Think
Baldur's Gate) Else it's annoying and will only get clicked away.

Or add "Tavern Tales" or fortune cookies with little scraps inside... :)
