I really can't make out the neutral grey text against the ground unless I enlarge it about 5 times size, and still a visual decipher like a Captcha test!

Is this something I should change in my settings or would it be better to make the standard grey text much closer to the alternate line white/black shade. I find I do not need a large difference to assist a long line scan personally. Or maybe have an option to enable/disable the numerics graphing as it is this background that makes my information invisible. Maybe a text syntax of some form? ;text(select * from mytable;)

Do you have the TERM environment variable set to "xterm-256color" ?

cw1nte commented 5 years ago

Yes, "xterm-256color" if just running admin mode session, which I was. When in screen set as term, which allows my profiles and logins to configure my command line formats and let me know in menu bar what the window is hosting.

I do recall some colour settings work in profiles for some things, certainly the line

RTFM? I just noted I can remove graphing with judicious TABbing . That is a fine solution to make it readable
