Armbian becomes unusable on Orange Pi 5 #2

When I install on of these versions (newer then Nov 14) (v1.9-1-3381696 or v1.9-1-b5d7972) armbian becomes super slow. The mouse takes 5 seconds to refresh its position and takes more than 10 seconds to open any app. I had to wait more than 10 minutes to uninstall the new one and use the old one (nov 14) which works well. Any clue on what that might be?

Sorry, I just mirrored libmali, so I don't know the details. Also, I am not using GUI on the RK3588 device. However, I did encounter a significant change in rkmppenc hardware transcoding performance depending on the libmali version. Newer versions may be rather slow.
