@DarthPeter0 Okay mate it looks fantastique! I recognized your style well. I havent had a look yet, I keep you posted. Btw had you time to refit those amazing ship? https://github.com/tsunamayo/Skywanderers-Pathfinder-Group-Build/issues/6 I still very much want to put them in the game - provided they have a good balance.

Thank you for the compliments. I have been working on a refit, though progress has been slow. I have been working from home due to COVID-19, which has made finding motivation to work on any builds, and especially old builds, difficult. It is also taking some time to rebalance my ships around the new heat system. My old designs are crammed with thrusters and shields in every nook and cranny. I am working on it, though, and am honored you want my designs in the game. I will let you know when the refit is done.

On the topic of balancing, I think the current build of the game is very accessible and well-balanced as far as the systems are concerned. Because of the more aggressive heat mechanics, I was worried that I would not be able to put enough reactors or thrusters on this shuttle. But it turns out that the thrusters had enough power to make my ship fly and handle like I wanted it to, leaving me more room for decoration instead of system-spam. The heat mechanic prevents ships from becoming too packed with systems, but the systems in place are powerful enough to still give a great arcadey feeling to the spaceships, at least at the small scale. There is room to tweak and balance ships for maximum performance, but even a fully maximized ship is not too overpowered. That makes this game stand out from every other spaceship building game on the market for me. You're doing a great job!

I also made a combat version of the shuttle. I know the civilian shuttles should not have any weapons; I made this in case you wanted something to use with combat balancing. It has beams, lasers, and a turret.

@DarthPeter0 they do look amazing, they will land in the game very soon (your canis shuttle is already in the game btw!). A few change though: 1) landing gear: must be set at switch to work with AI and the HUD element. 2) Turret: must be at Auto fire for it to work with NPCs (for now, it will change after a dev) 3) Door is not opening - if you could have a look at that, but it is less important for NPCs.

I can do 2) easily as your logic is always super mega clean and available unlike on most build (on the canis it is just amazing), but for 1) I am not sure I can do it.

Btw your talent is amazing, you can throw at me all your build on this github I am looking to put that in game! Would you be willing to tackle a bigger ship on the canis style? (like a 50m) Cheers

I will make those changes you asked for. I would also love to make a larger ship in the Canis style. Would you like it to be a 50m combat ship or civilian ship?
