[Dev request] Media / blueprint for PR and trailers

So guys I would like to boost up my PR, do a new trailer to better showcase the amazing stuff we can build in the game. It takes a crazy amount of time to shoot it myself, and I really need to spend the time on the game development. Current trailer is really lack-lusting because I haven't been able to spend too much time on it...

So if you would like to help I am looking forward to: 1) Blueprint:

• Cool mechanism: landing gear, opening cockpit ect
• Good looking Turret
• Building
• and of course any kind of cool spaceship / Hovercraft

2) Various Media. Mainly video but screenshot are okay too!

• One timelapse of people building a ship in multi.
• Fun things in multi
• Replace the infamous catwalk: Guy walking in a ship with asteroid behind. With the proper walking speed, I took a lot of flak as we walked at 0.3x speed and anim was crappy (my bad)

3) Weapon showcase: I want to do a quick video on weapon building. So for each barrel, a shot close to the weapon on a turret/ hardpoint shooting at a target + a shot close to the target of damage being dealt:

• sniping barrel taking down a turret
• Recoil piercing a hull and taking down systems
• gatling shooting at a hull, showcasing the high rate but low precision.
• beam shooting at a shield and taking it down!
• heat barrel with a shipload of side addon doing great damage
• shot a placing the actual addon on the turret used for previous shot

Sounds like all of these smaller clips you're looking for would definitely spice up a trailer. The timelapse of a ship being built is classic and I think would make an EA trailer way cooler. As ZachZent has mentioned elsewhere, there's now a decent amount of people playing MP together, and so I'll make sure the list is put to that group of players. Hopefully, over the weekend people can get some of the clips you ask for. As for recording is there any particular settings you would like us to use? For example, all graphical features on, or some off? 4K resolution recording or 1080p? Just those sorts of things. I'm sure all recordings will work just fine, but just checking for the clarification! Thanks Tsuna!

thanks @Aiwii ! Good question @Sullos =>Settings: So if you shoot inside the asteroid please put Ambiant Occlusion at off. It is quite buggy atm. Otherwise keep it at on, especially for interior shot. Other than that, all setting on! => Video 1080p is good enough! Thanks!

I believe there may be a delay for some as we are still building some of the structures to feature in the videos. But also it is nearing finals for some of us, so we should hopefully all be working on it soon :)

Its not much, but here's a screenshot of the only finished interior of pretty much the only thing I've built so far.

Once the ship is finished enough, I'll try to get some video of some of its "Cool mechanism."

I got 4 ships you can use, not sure about 2 of them. The star wars one may not be allowed to be used for copyright reasons even though it is based off a fan ship.

Evo Shuttle is the most complete out of all of them, the gunship is also close to being done besides the second floor. (Maybe just don't go up their if you want interior shots.

Hello Tsunamayo! Here is the blueprint for my latest ship. I was told you would be interested in seeing it. I used the large blocks for the basic construction, and the bricks for detail. It is also 30 meters long, so it fits on the small landing pads, has landing gear, and has the basic shields and turrets one would expect on blueprint for combat testing.

Thanks a lot everybody, it all looks amazing! That ship looks gorgeous @DarthPeter0, I will use it if you are okay with that. Also your interior looks fantastic @OldIronsides, it is really moody. I will definitely ping you once I start to add station interior! I think I need volumetric light effect and specular to bump that. Also I dont know if you a newer version of the Yamato, I want to do a video on "How big can you build?", and I want to show a few ship. Yours is not the biggest, but thats by far the most detailed and the interior was really advanced (usually big ship dont even have any kind of interior). I think it was the most impressive big ship I saw.

This is the space noodle truck. Its supposed to be a hover, but since i am having trouble balancing it, at the moment its a spaceship.

I will be using this. @OldIronsides It is absolutely stunning, so much live into that, I am totally using that too in the game. Your really need to make me some nice space station module in this style too, it is really incredible.
