[BUG] Workshop Interface BUG

[Servomotor]

The Workshop Interface in game does not show the blueprint icons, only questionmarks and the mouseover tooltip is behind the grid/icon interface.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

I just open my blueprint interface in game and it happens ...

Environment

• Starship EVO version: 20w26d
• Graphics Card: RTX 2080 at 2560x1440 monitor and game resolution

You need to re-export your blueprints if you want the icon to show

So the tooltip it is a bug, but yes you will have to load and re-export all the blueprint to get a thumbnail... Cheers

Hmm. Also I cant spawn most of my blueprints. They are not in the teleport menu or anywhere to be found. I went to skywa.re and downloaded my stuff, put them in the blueprint folder after clearing out the folder and starting a new world, and even those will not spawn.

I can not get these blueprints to spawn. I downloaded these off Skywa.re Aiwi could also not get the Interceptor ship from DarthPeter to spawn Blueprints that will not spawn.zip

I guess it is resolution issue, I dont have any problem... Blueprint is something different, and is fixed for next update.

I think you are right that the ToolTip being behind the User Interface is related to resolution.

I tested 4 resolutions from the highest down to 1920x1080 and these are the results.

• 1920 x 1080: Tooltip works perfect. It is in front of the UI
• 1920 x 1200: NO Tooltip at all. I did not see it in front of the UI or behind the UI
• 1920 x 1440: Tooltip is BEHIND the UI
• 2560 x 1440: Tooltip is BEHIND the UI

so the bug seems to still be in game.

Not related. I WAS able to spawn my ships in with this last fix. So that bug appears to be squashed.

The save/workshop interface appears to be working as a player should expect for all the resolutions I showed except 1920x1200. There is no tooltip at all on 1920x1200.

I know that 1920x1200 seems like a resolution a lot of players do not use, but keep in mind the 1920x1200 resolution is popular with designers. Many of the best design monitors show a wider color gamut are IPS monitors at 1920x1200. Creative games like Starship Evo are likely to attract designers. I went to school for design, this is in part what attracts me to this game.

• 1920 x 1080: Works Perfect
• 1920 x 1200: NO Tooltip at all. I did not see it in front of the UI or behind the UI
• 1920 x 1440: Works Perfect
• 2560 x 1440: Works Perfect

When you say select character do you mean in the character selection screen. This picture?

That screenshot was set at 1920x1200 and I was able to see my mouse over the character as you can see. I went into game to check if I could see the tooltip or not, still no tooltip for 1920x1200.

Sorry for late reply. I just tested it and everything seems to work properly.
