Okay sorry to hear this. Did you had any trouble with the game before or is it the first time you launched it? Also if you could try to exit to desktop, then reload the game in single player, and tell me if it worked.
Btw If you want to connect online you need to provide a valid ip address of a friend. Thanks
I have been able to reproduce this but only on my integrated graphics laptop with an i5. I think this is a problem with integrated graphics being unable to run it.
my previous laptop was a dell latitude E5452 with 16g ram, i don't remember any of it's other stats. Since the first time I launched it on my new laptop it hasn't launched, I've tried to reboot, uninstall and reinstall, and I play only in single player currently.
@MaverickLTX If it had a dedicated graphics card, then that would be the important spec. My ThinkPad with no graphics card has this same issue, my desktop with a 1070 ti is fine.
@MaverickLTX do you mean it managed to load the game once during your first start? Or maybe I misunderstood you. You log file doesnt indicate an issue with gfx but something else.
Pardon the misunderstanding, I meant on my previous laptop that went out last week I was able to log on and play. This one I just bought the. Dell inspiron 15 it dies on the screen with the ship and human female, jumping down and two aliens standing near the ship. Cool design by the way. I love this game, but was afraid I wouldn't live long enough to see it get to beta. I have a brain cancer, and your game has been a great comfort and escape for me during my treatment.

@MaverickLTX really sorry to hear this, all my wishes are with you mate! @StarrKiss could you send me the log file on your ThinkPad? I want to check and compare if it is the same issue, maverick issue is really weird, usually we get different error message when the gfx car is at fault. Thanks all
@tsunamayo After the latest update, it now crashes on launch on my ThinkPad, w/o leaving a output_log.txt file
Mine is crashing in the same place as before. Thanks for the well wishes, I'm just excited to get this going again to distract from the pain. I mean I could take fentanyl but I'd be spending the rest of my days a zombie on the couch, where as a more mild pain killer like the 10/325 hydrocodone helps take the edge off and I can distract myself with to something else..damn I'm on a tangent again. Star I can send that log if you still want to see it.
This might be completely meaningless but everytime I attempt to log on it ask me for a different name and g help provides a different seed number. Sorry if that is completely sorry if that is completely ancillary and without value.
I've downloaded the patches through steam that have recently come through but am still having the same issue. I attached my logs
Hi, now I can see the more "traditional" issues relative to the gfx card. Could you make sure your windows and GFX drivers are up to date? Thanks
Updated GFX and windows updated and rebooted, I'll try again 4:09am I've rebooted and tried several times but still the same issue, I included something I saw in my menu that I thought might be off, and the crash message.
thank you, Maverick
@MaverickLTX hi, could you please send me your crash dump files over at: C:/Users/justi/AppData/Local/Temp/Moonfire Entertainment/Starship EVO/Crashes Thanks!
also could you please do a run without the GFX options? Before loading, go to options/graphic and set Bloom OFF, Vignette OFF, Chromatic Aberration OFF and Anti Aliasing OFF. Thanks
@MaverickLTX also it is seems you are running an out of date driver (26.20.100.6859), could you update to a newer one?
