Pre-select Logic Gate #2880

I would like a sub menu on the logic gate that lets you select the type before putting it down. It'll make putting lots of gates down easier.

Hum how that would work? That seems like a lot of complexity. The logic gate is not something you mass build like hull.

You could potentially accomplish it by having the block settings menu open up if you say right click an item in the codex menu. Then you could set whatever settings you want and close it. The chosen settings would act like a set of default settings that would autofill whenever you place that block down until the default settings are reset or changed again. I could actually see it being useful for other blocks besides logic gates if you went about it this way. Doing it this way could for example let you place a bunch of pre-defined length/speed pistons down. I'm not sure how often I'd use the feature but I'm sure some people might find it helpful.
