Toury, you know you can actually UPDATE the very same workshop blueprint without deleting it, right?
The upload menu gives you the option. Just don't delete anything by hand and it will work.
I was more or less aware of that, but now that I've made this mistake, it won't let me upload the same blueprint at all, even after re-saving it and renaming it.
Okay, that's something only our wizard can help you with
Short Description of the issue:
I deleted one of my steam workshop uploads because I was trying to reupload it with a custom thumbnail as many users have done. However, once I deleted the folder for the upload in my directory, I found I could not upload it again, and every attempt to do so failed. I tried with two other blueprints following the same steps as I detail below, and the same thing happened. ...
Steps to reproduce the issue:
Upload a blueprint from the game through this menu Once uploaded, go to the steam page it created for you, and choose delete: Then, delete the folder from your Starship EVO > Save_Data > Workshop directory Now go back in game and try to upload the same blueprint through Steam again as you did in the first step. It should say upload failed or "upload unsuccessful, file not found" ...

Here is the blueprint I originally was trying to upload, in case there's something wrong with the bp itself:
