Hinge value has two different measurement ranges #4869

Open kynamats opened 2 years ago

kynamats commented 2 years ago

Short Description of the issue:

Hinges, when interacted with, show their value in the range -90>+90 degrees, this also applies to event gates listening to a hinge - however the sequencer input range for hinges is 0>+180 This can get extremely confusing when configuring mechanisms and results in an extra step of guesswork in matching up the two ranges.

...

Steps to reproduce the issue:

Place a hinge, with a logic input from a sequencer and an output to an event gate. Interact with all 3, and note how they measure the angle of the Hinge. ...

What's more confusing is the negative values seem to line up with the 90+ range
