[Suggestion] Decal Render Distance #5703

Would it be possible to get a significant increase to decal render distance? It would be nice to use them on larger ships instead of relying on breaking up the hull to get finer details. Below are some screenshots for perspective on when decals currently start vanishing. The smallest decal is a 2m (stretched 2x2) and the largest is a 1x1 of a 32m decal. Even the 32m decal disappears at a relatively short distance.

@Xerma Hi, can you send me your world so I can have a look at that? There are some tricky stuff involved with regard to decal from far away. thx
