[Question] How much management/logistics gameplay will there be? #5758

@tsunamayo recently you said that with crew we would need to devote space in our ships for them. This knowledge alone will effect survival builds going forward. If we have to accommodate our crew with space for beds and organize them based on rank what other management elements will there be in the future?

Will they have a mood stat? Will we need to build things like a break room or at the very least chairs to sit in? Will players need to feed our crew? If so then does that mean farming will be added? Will the player need food to survive? Will we use the Restaurant Kiosk? If they need beds then does that mean we can use the Rest kiosk? Will crew have their own stats/personality traits? If so will we be able to level them up? How will it effect their AI? Will they be able to follow us off of their ship as an away team member? Will players be able to equip crew with weapons and equipment? Can we give them our custom handhelds to use?

And that's just pertaining to crew. There's also the issue of logistics and empire management.

Will there be maintenance costs for having a ship/hovercraft/base? In money? In resources? Both? Will players be able to order their cargo ships to supply their own space stations/ground bases with resources? Will there be a dynamic economy and if so will players be able to exploit it? Can players create colonies? Will there be a limit? Will it be targeted for raids? If we can create colonies then can we claim territory? planets? solar systems? Will colonies allow players to attract colonists and charge them rent money thereby creating a passive income?
