[QoL] Names of interactable bricks #5978

Hi there,

I was thinking of a smaller QoL update regarding a more easy access to the "system bricks", "mechanism" and "Inventory, fuel and crafting" bricks. I'm generally talking about all the bricks that will have a blue outline when looking at them.

I.e when looking at a Starter Block the UI shows a text "[F] No System Linked". This shows that you can interact with the brick, however it doesn't tell you what brick you're looking at. My suggestion would be to give each of the bricks you can interact with (i.e. the different variants of the new Advanced Conveyor Tubes, Assembler, Arc Furnace, Cargo container, Fuel Tank, Hinges, Pistons etc. etc.) an UI text that shows you the actual name of the brick.

So when I look at a Cargo Container, The UI will tell me that this is a Cargo Container. Same goes for the Assembler, Valves, Hinges and so on and on ...

This came to my mind while testing the new "Advanced Conveyor Tubes" where three of the different blocks only differentiate with a picture ... Even tho I like them, I think live would be easier when the UI would just show me the name of the block I'm looking at.

Hi, well it should already work like that, so let me check.

@BigBadKangaroo Hi, indeed that was a bug, fixed for 24w37a. If they are more incoherent HUD message for some command let me know. Thanks!

@tsunamayo Hi, just tested it and it makes a huge difference when playing! Feels much better now.

However, now I tested every block that a player can interact with (yes, e v e r y interactable block). Here's what I found:

"No System Linked"-text:

-Slinding Rail -Hover Pod -Warp Core -Gravity Unit -Jump Pad -Docking Connector -Shield -Teleport Station -Maglock -Screen block (not Monitor block) -Logic Gate blocks: Logic, Sequenser, Event, Warning Message, Docking Controller, Kiosk Computer -All weapon blocks

Weird texts:

-Yoke linked to Turret Computer only shows "Activate" -solution "Activate Turret"? -Laser Sensor shows "Open Assembler" -Item Stand shows " " (it really shows nothing) -All Tank blocks show "Open Storage Unit" - perhabs "Configure Tank Unit"? -Hinges shows "Activate Rotator" -Join Arm shows "Activate Rotator" -Collector and Fuel Scoop are pretty much the same block just for different use cases, however, Collector shows "Open Collector" and Fuel Sccop shows "Configure Fuel Scoop" - both should show the same - either Open or Configure (I think both work fine but it should be consistent)

There are a few blocks which show up in the UI, but they show "Activate xxx(insert item name)". However, these blocks don't just activate, they're configurable. So it would make more sense to change the "Activate xxx" to a "Configure xxx" - just like the Conveyor Belt has because these blocks are simply configurable and don't just activate when interacting.

i.e. Piston block: "Activate Piston #1" should show "Configure Piston #1"

The blocks I'm talking about are:

-Hinge -Rotator -Piston -Join Arm -Power Cell Base
