About the Cantonese CC-EDICT, I had another look at it. At first I thought it was in Jyutping, (it uses Jyutping's tone numbering scheme) but it's actually a hybrid of Yale and Jyutping (the pronunciation part is based on Yale). This isn't much of a problem but it would need to be stated somewhere (like on a button that it is actually Yale e.g. English (Cantonese - Yale), otherwise people might be confused (like me).
After closer inspection, the dictionary file posted by tym (look for this post):

Hi, I took the liberty of amending the “” file and changed all the accented tone markings to numbers (example, “leung5″ instead of “léuhng”) because I noticed Yedict was inconsistent (some entries were accented tones, others were numbered tones).
This is my amended Yedict:

I retract my original statement about this version of the dictionary. It does indeed fix many of the inconsistencies of the dictionary posted at the top (I was confused about the whole Jyutping/Yale hybrid system). If a Cantonese dictionary where to be integrated, the file under this post should be the one to be added.
Have the dictionaries been added to the .sqlite file yet?

Use cantonese pronunciation from Cantonese-CEDICT. Add a new "English (Cantonese slang)" local dictionary.
