Invite People #3

After we prepared git-food a little, we should start inviting people to this, so that it fills up. But they need to manifest the manifest first — does that makes sense?

Agreed, let's do that once we have made a few additions (and by doing such, defined a bit better the structure / core ideas).

Just researched a little and the folder structure is quite tricky, because a single recipe could be in one or more folders. For example we might have a vegetarian folder and there is an amazing pasta dish in there, so what happens if you also want it in the pasta folder? How can we solve this?

I checked out Jamie Olivers site just for structure. It is really good actually, because you can say alright I am in the mood for chicken — I want a chicken dish. So you would go:

Recipes > Main Ingredient > Chicken

or you want a curry and you do:

Recipes > Dish Type > Curry

…so on and so forth. So his recipes are very accessible, but I think this is not doable for us, because we don’t have a database like that. So what do you reckon. So I would say we just mixe it up a little, something like this:

Antipasti BBQ Bread & Doughs Cakes & Tea Time Treats Curry Drinks Pasta & Risotto Pies & Pastries Pizza Desserts Roast Salad Sandwiches & Wraps Soup Stew Vegan Vegeterian Breakfast
