Right-Clicking #280

I'm getting a bug where I have to right-click at hit Block Element>Add twice to
get the ad to be blocked. Doing this only once won't block the ad for some
reason.

I'm using Chrome on Linux(Ubuntu). And it's happening on any url that I try on
it. So pick a url and try it yourself.

And all my options are ticked in the General tab. The filters I'm subscribed to
are the ones that were ticked when I just installed the extension. EasyList by
Ares2, Michael, and Erunno and AdThwart recommended filters.

Thanks.

That is pretty weird. I haven't been able to reproduce this problem. After the
first try, is the ad blocked when you reload the page? At that time, is a
custom filter added? Which version of Chrome are you using (e.g. what does it
say in "About Google Chrome")?

You know what, I gotta apologize for making this comment. The ad does indeed
disappear after I reload the page. I didn't notice that at first, because after
I right-click on and hit Block Element twice, the ads disappears without me
having to reload.

I'm coming straight from using Adblock. And on that extension, the ads will
disappear without having to reload the page when you manually block them. So I
was expecting the same to happen with Adthwart. And when it didn't, I thought
it was a bug.

So anyways, yes, the ads do get blocked after manually blocking them only once.
It's just they remain visible until reload page.

So, sorry for bothering you about this. And thanks for a great extension. I'm
definitely staying with this one and not switching back.

Well, it should still remove the element the first time, so it's still a bug.
How does it work when you try to remove the AdThwart devil icon on this bug
tracker page?

Glad you like AdThwart.
