Battery Voltage #75

The battery level displays as a red battery symbol when it's low but is there a way to see the actual battery voltage? I'm paranoid about the battery puffing.

Well I tried displaying the voltage on the version screen but the flash memory is very close to full and it will not compile.

Looking at my board, under the battery connector is an empty spot for Diode D2. This diode is needed for voltage measurement. I installed a Schottky diode but any diode should do. I now have a working battery level indication with the latest firmware.
