Simplenote sync reverts to previous version #146

This happened to me a number of times, but this time I am sure it happened and I am 100% sure that only nvALT and Simplenote sync was involved, I did not run any Simplenote apps on my iOS devices.

What happens is that I'm editing a note. After I leave it open for a while, I come back to that note, but from an earlier point in time.

The setup is: two computers with nvALT Version 2.2b (101), both doing Simplenote sync every 5 minutes. Local storage is an encrypted database.

If I notice that the note was reverted, I can then go to the simplenote website, find the previous version using the clock icon, and restore it. It is always one version back.

Have you tried with the latest release? (104 or later) This should have been fixed with Simperium sync integration.

Yes. If you Check for Updates... in the nvALT menu you should get 2 consecutive updates and end up with a version 108 or 109 depending on what OS you're on.

Either one should fix your bug, I hope. But please do report back if its not.

Please make sure you're version is up to date (especially when running a beta) before posting a bug report.

I am running 111 now and have not seen the problem in quite a while, so it might indeed have been fixed.
