Please help me get rid of the red highlights #273

I have no idea what I typed but I wound up with every "i" in every note highlighted in red (pink). I've tried everything I can think of, including reinstalling the app but can't get rid of the highlights. I rely on nvALT for tracking "everything" and this is going to push me over the edge. I did read the earlier post about red highlights and links, but I didn't intend to make a link and would have no idea where it is.

Go to the Preferences and click on the "Fonts & Colors" tab, and uncheck the "Search Highlight" box.

Is there a simpler way of toggling this on and off? I find it useful to have the highlighting when browsing through notes, but when I start to edit a note I don't want to have every instance of a search term highlighted; I've already found what I'm looking for.
