Plus signs disappear after sync

Just asked all these questions about your bolded text post, but they apply here as well:

What kind of sync? SimpleNote or Dropbox? If SimpleNote do you see the plusses in SimpleNote ever? Can you type a plus in SimpleNote and have it show up in nvALT?

I use SimpleNote sync, I add ssh key to NValt and on another computer it comes out plus-less.

I just discovered that I, too, have been bitten the same problem of vanishing plus signs with nvALT and Simplenote sync.

I then ran the following tests:

• When I create a note that contains a plus sign in nvALT, the plus sign is missing from the note created in Simplenote, but it remains temporarily in the note in nvALT. Some time later or if I quit and reopen nvALT, the plus sign also vanishes from the note in nvALT.
• When I create a note with a plus sign in Simplenote, the plus sign does get synced to nvALT, but after a little while the plus sign first vanishes in Simplenote and then a bit later in nvALT.

So it seems like the error happens in the upload process from nvALT to Simplenote. I just downloaded the 2.2b (94) beta, hoping that the bug has been fixed in the meantime, but it is still there.

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

There are more sides to this, all formatting disappears after sync. I make text bold, and on another computer it comes as plain text again.

I am have the same problem with plus signs disappearing after Simplenote sync. I'm using NValt 2.2b (94)
