any ROS2 port? #83

can i run hector slam on ROS2 ?

We currently don't have plans to port hector_slam to ROS2 but we are happy to accept PRs. We might port parts such as hector_geotiff.

I installed ros2 on ubuntu 20.04 and I want to use hector slam. No plans yet?

Nope, very unlikely to happen unless the community ports it. If anyone is up for it, feel free to open a PR but we don't have the time for more than basic maintenance on this repository. Sorry.
