Just got few ideas in mind, while going through the Obsidian Community.

A column can have a progress bar, which the user can decide to hide or show.
Every column can be provided with an option to show or hide the completed task. (I think its better to make this as a Board level option then every specific Column level, since the user wouldnt like to see few column showing completed sub-tasks and few only un completed.)
