In the current version of the data portal, only a minimum set of metadata
are supplied with the individual record (see URL). In addition to the
dataset-wide metadata that will have to be supplied with record display,
through web services and download (see
http://bugzilla.gbif.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317), ABCD contains more metadata
at record level. The most important of those is the legal owner, who may
differ from the legal owner of the whole dataset. Correct provision of this
information is essential for proper credit and attribution.

It is particularly unsatisfactory that this information used to be provided
in the prototype version of the data portal (see attached screenshot), but
then disappeared with the new implementation.

Will have to consider how to implement. As the index does not contain legal
owner data at record level at present, this would imply either an extension of
the index database structure, or displaying the full details from a live
connection to the source database (which may not always be available).
