In the prototype data portal, there were a number of general overview pages
giving provider and resource names with counts of served (not: indexed)
records per GBIF Participant Node. This count is actually the records being
served, instead of the ones being indexed.
These pages are still used by data providers to
determine their position in a ranking list, by Nodes (both GBIFS and
individual) for reporting on contribution, etc. However, the existing pages
are not able to handle TAPIR providers. Either extension of the existing or
re-implementation of the functionality in the new data portal is required
to avoid misrepresentation of providers.
