ZHA not recognizing Tubes Zigbee Router #70

Hi. I just received the Zigbee router today that I purchased from you last week. However, My HA ZHA does not find it. I have tried pairing just a few feet away, to about 20' away. Nothing. My Zigbee controller is the GoControl Nortek Zigbee and Zwave USB adaptor on a RPi4 running HA. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

EDIT: I should probably mention that the LED is lighted, and pressing the reset button does not turn it off momentarily, as I would expect. Also, plugging this into the USB on my Fedora 34 computer shows nothing in the logs. I would have expected something, unless the USB port is power only.

Yeah the usb port is power only, there is no serial chip on the board of the router.

The green led lights based to just show it's getting power and that the Router FW has started and is running. the second led is there in case of future developments.

When joining are you allowing joins (adding device in ZHA) and then powering on the device? you can also try hitting the BSL button this will cause the router to reset and go into pairing mode. (the reset button is like a restart button for the module). If still an issues these can sometime be picky about interference. if still any trouble I can swap one out or do a return/refund no problem.

That was the problem. Thank you. I had plugged in the router device first, then initiated the pairing. Doing the reverse allowed it to pair. I plan on mounting it to a window in order to reach my detached garage. I may end up needing two of these. Will find out soon. Thanks again!
