It seems that gstreamer-java only works reliably if the gstreamer 'bin' folder
is on the path. The command line tools, also, are clearly much more useful if
they're on the path. For these reasons, it seems to me as though the installer
package should have an option to modify the system path environment variable
(or the current user equivalent -- presumably there should also be an 'install
for just me or everyone' option to choose between them) and add the appropriate
folder to it.
