Have Dominos set to "Show Empty Buttons" UNCHECKED both on individual bars and the Dominos global checkbox
Bar 3 has combat abilities with ability icons on every button
Holding 'Control' pages Bar 3 to Bar 5 for alternate abilities ... but Bar 5 has some empty buttons in spots that Bar 3 is full with
The above sets up the repro, the following shows the problem:
Page Bar 3 to Bar 5 with the control key
Activate an ability from bar 5 with a cast time
Release 'Control' for Bar 3 to be unpaged
RESULT: Bar 3 shows empty buttons in the same slots that Bar 5 had empty buttons. Abilities on those visually empty buttons still work via their keybinds but you don't see cooldowns or proc glows.
NOTE: Same with other paged bars, for instance when holding 'Alt' Bar 3 becomes Bar 13 for Dragonriding. This makes testing easy as you can just summon a mount from an ability on Bar 13 to see the issue appear.
Workarounds:
Out of combat only you can mouseover the "empty" buttons to have their display refreshed. Mouseover does not bring the ability icon back IF in combat.
In Dominos you can set "Show Empty Buttons" to CHECKED and the issue doesn't appear
NOTE: This began happening with the 10.2.12b version, continuing with 10.2.13-retail. But IIRC there was similar problems with the version before 10.2.12b that was corrected with a patch. Seems like Blizzard continues to change the things that Show/Hide Empty Buttons hooks into.
When reporting an issue, please try to reproduce the issue with just Dominos and Dominos_Config running.
