It would be nice if we could set a default browser to use when opening JIRA issues from the JiraStopWatch pannel.

Thanks Mark

What version are you using and what is your OS? This should already be choosing the default browser.

Hi Tulleuchen,

I am using Chrom and Edge, but using the OS default browser is not what I am asking for. What I would like to do is; in the JIRA Stopwatch application assign a browser to use to view a JIRA issue regardless of the OS default browser setting.

So if your OS default browser is Edge but you want to use Chrome to view JIRA issues, you can set Chrome as the application browser; when you select the 'Open issue in browser (CTRL-O)' icon the application will launch Chrome instead of Edge.

Thanks Mark

I'll look into this

@ECGroupIT Instead of making this a part of Jira StopWatch, you can install an application, that specialises in precisely this thing: https://bitbucket.org/gmyx/browserchooser2/wiki/Home

Make BrowserChooser your default browser, and then you can configure per URL, which browser to use.
