Create new sample application #76

Creates a new sample application to sit alongside existing "explore" example. I'm not very experienced with coding but created this to help me learn. Hopefully there are some further pointers for newbies. Further detail in the README.

@alaw005 I haven't had a chance to look at this in detail (it's been a busy month), but I'm curious - why not host this sample app on your own account, and have it use multigtfs? That way you aren't blocked by me reviewing and merging, you can pick your own license, etc. I could link to it from the documentation.
