As a followup for #76 here is the feature request for enabling model downloads via URL. To implement this some design decisions have to be made:
Where should the downloaded models be stored? (I.e. in /tmp, $MLONMCU_HOME/temp, $HOME/.config/mlonmcu, …)
Should we cache the downloaded files to be used multiple times?
Where does this integrate in the Flow? It might be part of the Load stage, added as a new optional stage (Custom stages proposal: TBA) or be implemented in the CLI only.
