Should it be called Simulator or Shadow Thing @egekorkan ? Or maybe 'Thing Simulator' ?
I would say Simulator or Thing Simulator. The user does not need to know about the "advanced" features implied by the "shadow" adjective.
Since we can have more plugins in the feature, saying Thing Simulator from now on makes more sense :)
Should we replace all instances where "virtual thing" to something like "simulated thing"? Or should we keep both terms?
I believe the tab name should be changed from "Virtual Thing" to "Thing Simulator" as mentioned above by @egekorkan . But I still like the term "virtual thing" (maybe even "digital thing") to refer to running instances of the thing simulator. It is in my opinion better than something like "simulated thing" or "simulation".
In summary, maybe changing tab name to "Thing Simulator", but keep refering to simulated things as as "virtual things" makes sense.
Any comments before I start changing these terms throughout the app? @egekorkan @neniman
So just from an English language perspective, it should have an -er, -or
ending such that the user understands that he/she will initiate the simulation. If for each TD, we were to automatically start the simulation, it would be fine to use Virtual Thing or Digital Thing.
Change the tab name from "Virtual Thing" to "Simulator"
