NZB Planet URLs do not resolve #57

The URLs from NZBindex pushed to NZBGet do not resolve (that was before the 1.15 update). NZB Planet worked fine.

clutterskull commented 2 years ago

Can you check again with 1.15.6? The update from yesterday broke NZBGet integration, so it's probably related.

Kugelblitz360 commented 2 years ago

Sorry, the NZBIndex problem already was there before 1.15 and still is with 1.15.6 The URL passed to NZBGet is, for example, https://nzbindex.com/download/620446125/The-Power-Of-The-Daleks---Extras-1819---The-Power-Of-The-Daleks---Trailer.m4v.nzb And this after about 15 seconds ends in a "Fetch: Failure". Intercepting the NZB file also seems to misfire.

wamp wamp... ok, I'll have a look.

Sites sometimes update their apis or layout and it can cause the site integration to break. To date, NZBFinder is the only site that has notified me ahead of time of layout changes.

clutterskull commented 2 years ago

@Kugelblitz360 To clarify, is it just nzbindex not working? Is nzbplanet ok now?

clutterskull commented 2 years ago

Interesting. I am seeing the exact same behavior as you with NZBGet and that release, but it works fine in SAB.

*Edit: Even more interesting. When I add the download URLs (either download or direct-download) to NZBGet using the NZBGet interface, they just stay in that fetching state forever as well. If I download the nzb file locally and try to add that, it goes to "Downloading" state, but never makes any progress: image

Again, this nzb works fine in SAB. Not sure what might be causing it. Will do some more testing with other lsitings.

clutterskull commented 2 years ago

Also of note, nzb intercept no longer stops the download. Probably a security feature added to chrome or something.

I should also note, nzbindex has always been kind of a weird one, just because of how raw its organization is. It's always kind of mostly worked, but it can be difficult to understand what actually needs to be done, and given my recent experience with NZBGet urls, it's not surprising they are having issues.

Thanks for confirming. BTW, using Edge rather than Chrome but that does not make a huge difference. And THANKS for the plugin overall - has saved me some clicks in the last year! Highly appreciated!!!

Most welcome!

Any of the chromium browsers should work the same. I have used Vivaldi, Edge, Brave, and Chrome with it successfully. Edge is a great choice these days. Firefox has its own addon store, but it's the same plugin code over there as well.
