What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. FN+f9(default in the app) to kill wi fi
2. FN + down arrow to reduce brightness
3. FN+ Up arrow to increase brightness.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
WiFI to be switched off when the combo mentioned in 1 is done, screen
brightness to reduce or increase when the combo in 2 and 3 are pressed. The
FN+f5 turns off the display though.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Product version 2.1
OS: Ubuntu 12.04
Please provide any additional information below.
Since the brightness was very harsh and it used to hurt my eyes i used
xbacklight -set 10 which work fine. Also i use xfce4, there is a applet to
change the brightness and that works fine. But the hot key combo when FN+ arrow
down reduces the brightness to 90% only till that point. Same way up takes it
to 100%.
