Andre had done a video interview with a polish tv station. Andre should be getting that for us, but he needs to be reminded about it.

Gotcha. Did it sound like he has a copy already, or will be getting one?

I believe he has one, though it is all in polish. If I recall correctly, he was going to check to see if it was alright for him to share the interview, as for the rights belonging to it might be up in the air. All told, he just needs to be reminded of it.

DVD of video clips in hand. Am capturing & converting.

Process is slowed by the DVD being Region 2. My computer is slow but steady on the process.

We have at least 1 30 minute comprehensive documentary about the anniversary of the movement which I will cut into smaller chunks.

Looks like another 5-7 shorter clips: about 10-15 minutes each.

Oy vey. some of these clips are cut short at the end from source. Will need some editing.

Jeff, I will be sending out a test MOV & FLV to you shortly so we can see how the Gallery module reacts to formats..

Still editing the videos. It is remarkably difficult working with the Region 2 DVD. Trying a fourth set of alternate methods.

We may have a small issue. The file size limit on the current video widget is 2MB. Unfortunately, the smallest clip we have is 9minutes and 55MB. If I slice it down into 2MB chunks making multiple clips for the user, that is bad user experience.

We may have to consider YouTube, which is a 2GB limit and a 9-10 minute runtime

Depending on Rights holders, we may have to consider a delivery method that is not "sharable". Waiting to hear.
