I've taken on a large coding project for CSSO. I'll be adding custom post types to the Dashboard so that admins can manage their range of submissions with more control and less "instruction" from the owner manager. Case: a user wants to add a video to a editor cue, say someone in Haiti. They can upload their video but where does the editor put it? Editor can go into dashboard and click "Video" and add the video once they've determined they want to do with, just as they would a regular post. These new types will live in the Dashboard sidebar and can be managed as easily as posts but won't be added to the posts list. It's just another aspect of modularity. But, it will take some doing. We already know that some of the user content forms work, so this should close that user model. More soon.
