usage specific buttons #8

Having buttons for specific usages would be nice.  At least a little mouse
pad should be kept in all cases i think.

For exemple, left/right arrow + mouse (probably also with up/down and
space, and perhaps 'M' which is often used as mute key ?).

there is not escape buttons on phone's keyboards
and it's really hard to manage virtual and real keyboards

remotedroid application manage to have the escape key when using menu.
But since you need the menu key, you could add an onscreen button for the 
escape key.

on screen buttons for :
- mouse wheel (already available at the right of the screen)
- toggle keyboard
- escape key

too much buttons imo :P

Yes, but the escape key is the only one that could not be done in any other way!

it's only a suggestion but why don't use the back button, which I think every 
android
phone has.
For example: first press send ESC to pc and shows a dialog box on screen which 
says
that another push on the button would quit the app.

Also need a way to translate the d-pad or scroll ball into arrow keys. Would be 
very handy.

+1 on the trackball arrow keys, it would be very nice! oh and trackball select 
-> return key
