Python 3.6 Compatible #389

Hi:

I tried to install SFrame using Pip and Conda but I can not find anything that will work with Python 3.6? Has SFrame been updated to work with Python 3.6 yet?

Thanks, Drew

The GitHub page says it's only compatible with 3.4x or lower. However I have tried 3.4.5 and pip install -U sframe tells me no matching distribution found for sframe.

Can someone clarify? Pretty please :-)

I also land up here for the same : D hope we get that soon.

Since there hasn't been a commit in a year I doubt we will see 3.5 or higher support

infinitechallenge commented 6 years ago

As an alternative way to use sframe, can I install python2.7 seperately and try to import graphlab module to there?

sfavorite commented 6 years ago

You should be able to do that. I have used graphlab without sframe. It will work with pandas.

You should checkout the new release, from Apple, of this product.

I am unable to install both Graphlab and Sframe. Please help.

chota98 please see my comment just above yours. SFrame has been move to turicreate and is now owned and supported by Apple.
