This could allow the RD to enter in a few basic metrics and historical diagnosis information to figure out if the tube feeding formula is a good fit for the patient as well as home much to send with the patient to allow less prone circumstances for human error. It could also make recommendations for different formulas if the kcal and fat content fit the patient's needs but the protein is over the recommended daily allowance (RDA) based on the patient's prescribed dietary needs (Example: diabetic, renal disease, cardiac disease, etc.).
