This might also be more appropriate with stickers, and probably needs a rate limit.

You're basicly just forking a function of ivar or mijris or mimicing their function, just as suggested with mubot in #125 . Just as with mubot, if mijris or ivar were still available for all rooms, this might not be an issue as commented in #125 :

This is an operational concern for the bot's operator.

ivar has a function to trigger when someone types "alot" instead of "a lot".

My react maubot plugin's version 2.0 supports arbitrary responses to regexes. The example config includes an alot response.
