This is what they answered:
You can use a bot as bridge, like this one in Node.js: https://gist.github.com/trustable-code/8549c97ac3db99ef1f9e472ad42cef72
There is an element that always defers issues that should be in the spec', by passing them off as frivilous stuff for 'bots.
Anyway, some have been looking at putting something like Mumble Web in rooms via custom widgets, as a low bandwidth voice alternative to Jitsi/WebRTC. Such might be an interim workaround.
I have also found https://github.com/Johni0702/mumble-web#matrix-widget
and it seems that the developer of this repo' could code a widget template for inclusion on dimension.t2bot.io
. Or someone with the ability AND FREE TIME, could write a PR/MR for that particular individual.
Mumble is voice focused, so bridging it's text chats to matrix doesn't seem reasonable.. PS. mumble-web and mumble is cool :D
A bridge between Mumble and Matrix. Mumble is open source and the code is available here.
