[Desktop IM] MSN Messenger bridge #158

Ok the Windows Live Messenger service is dead but perhaps there could be a bridge that mimics Messenger server. You could connect with Windows Live Messenger to the server but actually you connect to Matrix.

ftr connecting with a non-matrix client to a matrix server is known as gateway bridging.

It is possible to bring MSN Messenger alive with Escargot MSN Server. Making bridge for Escargot would make it possible for MSN Messenger client to connect to Matrix. Here are the source codes. Perhaps using Matrix Bifröst with Escargot would do the job.
