Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to introduce syntax highlighting into code sections (three backtricks or inline code): I read in another issue that you are using markdown-it as library for markdown, I can read in their project page https://github.com//markdown-it/markdown-it in Usage Examples there is an example for syntax highlighting.
Maybe by using markdown-it you can include more easily syntax highlighting at least for most famous programming language (c,c++, python, bash, java, ....etc)
