HDR processor should be a filter #366

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using the HDR processor with the filter system isn't working very well (???)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Ideally HDR processor would be a filter and not a processor. That way it can 
integrate better with the rest system.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
