Does not respect the "Media Display" setting #3997

Tusky does not appear to respect the "Media Display" setting in the web app.

Tusky Version: 23.0
Android Version: 13
Android Device: Moto G Stylus 5G (2023)
Mastodon instance (if applicable): hachyderm.io

We do synchronize that setting with the server - can you describe what's not working?

When I use this "Media Display" setting, I like to have all media hidden. But in Tusky media is not hidden when I load the timeline.

Ah, you're right, the one I was thinking of was a publishing setting - we don't support this one yet. As a temporary workaround, you could try turning off "Download Media Previews" in "Account Preferences" under "Timelines"
