Notifications repeatedly keep being pushed to android notifications #4303

Detailed description

Suddenly tusky started pushing notifications into my phone's notifications area. It does this every approx 10 minutes. And it sends notifications for some 30 events in the last weeks. My notifications area of my phone gets flooded. The phone vibrating like mad for about half a minute.

I've force closed the app. I've refreshed all feeds, including push notifications.

It might be related: I have two accounts: A and B. B is low traffic and selhosted using gotosocial. It occasionally has issues on api endpoints. The notifications that spam my phone are for account A, a normal, large mastodon instance. But maybe an issue in acct B left the app in a bad state, idk.

I haven't removed & reinstalled the app. I haven't logged out & in on any acct.

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Wait for a few minutes
  2. Open tusky
  3. See the notifications on the phone stream in.

I'm not sure what got my app in this state. So any help on finding better ways to reproduce are welcome: anything I should check, do, log or evaluate: lmk.
