Can't see boosts or followers on a user's profile page outside my instance.

When I try to view a user's list of followers, or list of accounts they follow, I can only see the accounts that are on my same instance. If I open the profile in my browser, I can see accounts from all instances in those lists. Similarly, the user's list of posts doesn't contain any boosts from outside my instance when viewed in the app. I do see such boosts in the web page.
